What you are describing is called crabbing or sidewinding. And if you do nothing then probably not, she will not outgrow this. Most likely you are wondering why does this happen. Some reason, and it may be an even growth, it may be roughhousing too hard with other puppies in the litter, or something unknown, her brain is not able to detect both back legs to the same extent. Now, her brain knows that she has four legs at this young age but the signals are not getting to one leg as well as to the other. Of that one leg is able to move faster to compensate for the other.
It is exciting is that in a young dog this is really easy to fix with a few chiropractic treatments. Chiropractic! You say! How in the world does that work you might wonder. Well easy: if some giant mammoth puppy jumped on top of your puppy when they were three weeks old mega puppy may have just barely affected the movement in your puppies back and it has never been fixed. The beauty of chiropractic adjustments in young dogs is it only takes one or two treatments to make something as minor as crabbing go away. By restoring motion to that spot where mega puppy jumped on your puppy the information from the brain goes all the way to both back legs equally and her beer and straightens up and she runs in a straight line. Isn’t that awesome? And then maintenance for a young dog? 2 to 4 times a year bring your puppy in for a visit and a lineup and usually all goes well.
