One of the great things about alternative medicine is it helps so many patients and in so many different ways. I would like to share a few examples with you:
Recently, a friend of mine was having vertigo, a terrible case of dizziness that did not stop. The neurologist could not find anything wrong so he prescribed a medication that 20% of the time causes severe side effects including dementia. She did not find this medication acceptable. So she asked for my two cents worth since I don’t work on people. My recommendation was to go to a chiropractor. My chiropractic training included information about the little stones in the inner ear that help with balance called otoliths. The otoliths can become dislodged and cause terrible vertigo. Chiropractors know how to correct the situation. She went to her chiropractor who determined that was not the cause of her problems. However, and this is the exciting part, a craniosacral therapist also worked in the chiropractor’s office. The therapist has been able to relieve great amount of pressure in my friend’s head and help with her vertigo. Connections. It’s very interesting how we can all connect to the right treatment provider.
A friend of mine in Michigan has a beautiful, Weimareiner. When his dog became weak in the back end, I was able to recommend a colleague in his area. His dog is walking again!
Alternative medicine practitioners have some great contacts. All over the world, we can help each other and their clients get the care they need.
When the same old thing isn’t working and you’re ready to try something new, you might not know who will fix the problem, but you probably know who to ask.
Can you possibly send me info for finding a new Vet for my 9 yo rescue cat? Ive tried flowing through the internet only to run into a vet that shamed me when I mentioned Raw Diet, and wanted to vaccinate her for everything under the sun. I refused, took my cat and left.
I also need to know what to feed her, as she seems to throw up on a daily basis after eating her wet Grain-Free food. Can you recommend some high-grade food for her? Im nervous over the problems with the recent heart problems from what I thought were good food companies. Thank you so much!
